Lions Facility Rental (Dr.Nelson F. Tomlinson Community Centre)

1. Check availability by either contacting the Lions Club or by using the link above

2. Complete all rental agreement forms and send to clchallrental@gmail.com

3. Read all Terms and Conditions carefully

3. Once the Lions Club confirms your rental, reach out to an insurance provider and obtain insurance (we recommend only doing this after your reservation has been confirmed- additional details below)

We able to offer a larger Gym that can accommodate 100 people

The Gym rental includes use of various tables and chairs 

The Gym has a large stage that can be used for a Talent show or for live music (subject to SOCAN - see below).

The facilities also offer a large kitchen that is connected to the Gym

There is a meeting room that can accommodate 50 people, this room includes a small kitchenette (without oven and stove).

For non-profit and non-commercial 

(meaning you are not a business or corporation and are not charging an admission fee and/or using the facility for any business or profit related activity). 

Gym Only -Full Day Rental (8 Hours) $400.00. 

Gym Hourly rate $100.00

Kitchen - with Gym and/or Lions Room (1-8 Hours) +$200.00

Lions Room Only- Full Day Rental (8 Hours) $300.00

*Lions Room includes Kitchenette (no Stove or Oven)

All renter required to pay a $200.00 Security/Damage Deposit

*Gym/Lions Room: Extra charge of $150.00 will apply if the Claremont Lion's Club is asked to set-up/ take down tables and chairs

Yes - All renters are required to obtain insurance - no exceptions.  The are many options for obtaining insurance, you can contact your insurance provider or do an Internet search.  If you are already part of a sports club they might already have insurance.  Either way Insurance is mandatory.

Guest have advised that it is easy to use and depending on the event could be as little as $6.

A Lions Club member will let you into the facility and close the facility once you event ends

The City of Pickering has advised that the capacity of the Gym can accommodate maximum 100 people.  The Lions room can accommodate 50 people.

No, while we would like to be able to accommodate these requests, in order to have access to the facility you must have a valid rental agreement and insurance.   Please factor setup time into your desired rental time.   Over night use of facility is not permitted.

Yes.  The Lions Club will be able to coordinate a time for you to see the facility.  We ask that you invite ALL individuals within your group to attend - the Lions Club will not provide multiple visits.
